CMHA HPE has expanded Walk In Access to help individuals receive assessment and connection to the right services more quickly. This program provides immediate mental health and addiction support for people across HPE.

Walk In Access is available 9:30 am–2:30 pm in Bancroft, Belleville, Madoc, Picton, Trenton, and Tweed on scheduled days. No appointment is required. Hours and days may vary, so people are encouraged to check the website or call 613-967-4734 before visiting.

Community Care for Central Hastings is incredibly grateful to have been selected as a recipient of the proceeds from the Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance Annual Golf Tournament.

Executive Director Debbie Courneya and Finance Manager Jennifer Maloney attended the tournament at Timber Ridge Golf Course in Brighton. We were honoured to receive a generous donation of $12,100, thanks to the support of the tournament organizers and participants.

A special thank you to Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance Board Chair Connie Robinson, a resident of Madoc, for selecting Community Care for Central Hastings as a recipient.

This generous contribution will help us continue providing essential services and supports to seniors and adults with physical disabilities throughout Central Hastings. The impact of this donation will be felt throughout our community, helping individuals remain independent, connected, and supported in their own homes.

It's official! Our first delivery of 'Fresh' produce will be on Tuesday, June 16. We'll pack as much as we can into an $8 bag of fresh veggies and fruit. Give us a call if you would like more info! This new program is available to all CCCH clients.

We're expanding our Meals on Wheels program to include fresh veggies and fruit. A small survey was distributed to our current Meals on Wheels clients and we had some great feedback. Our 'Fresh Produce Program' including fruit and veggies, will launch during the week of June 15th and will be offered biweekly. Please call for more info!

We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both vendors and seniors who attended the Seniors Expo yesterday. It was wonderful to see the community come together and learn more about the supports and services available in the area.

Come on over! We're all set up with lots of vendors, information and presenters. Doors open at 10:00 today and close at 2:00 pm at 617 Louisa St in Tweed (Tweed Agricultural Building - free admission and parking). Today only May 14/26!

Visit our vendor booths, grab a bite to eat and take home lots of info!
