Tumbler Ridge Outdoor Recreation Association

10/20/2026

🌲 This week we are talking about TRORA Premium Memberships!! Did you know TRORA offers a 6-in-1 membership?

Through our Premium Membership program, you can support six local organizations with one membership for discounted pricing. That includes TRORA, TRMBA, Wolverine Nordic & Mountain Society, Grizzly Valley ATV Club, TR Ridge Riders and the Tumbler Ridge UNESCO Global Geopark.

For non-profit organizations, membership numbers mean a lot; more than just money! Having a strong membership base helps demonstrate community support when applying for grants, advocating for recreation opportunities, seeking funding and working with government and other partners. The more members our clubs have behind them, the stronger their collective voice becomes.

We've tried to make it a little easier for people to support these groups without having to purchase memberships separately.

Whether you use the trails every weekend or simply appreciate having these opportunities in our community, your membership is a meaningful way to show your support.

Congratulations to TRMBA for an incredible 2026 season!

Hi everyone!

The TRMBA trail network is closed for the season. We have had snowfall, changing temperatures, saturation, paired with wind and a ton of blowdowns. So this will mark the end of the 2026 ride season!

Thanks to everyone who has helped put together such an incredible season for us in Tumbler Ridge! If conditions dry up before we have more snow, we will host a late-fall workbee.

Enjoy winter, and stayed tuned for info on our 2027 build, spring workbees, the bike bus, and more! ❄️

🌲 Supporting an entire network

Did you know that supporting TRORA means you're helping more than just one organization?

Behind so many of the outdoor recreation opportunities we enjoy in Tumbler Ridge are dedicated volunteers, local clubs, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes work!

Your support helps TRORA:
🚵 Support our local mountain bike, hiking, Nordic, ATV, and snowmobile clubs
🙌 Reduce the administrative burden on volunteers
🥾 Create outdoor experiences and leadership opportunities for youth
🌲 Assist with recreation projects, events, fundraising, and partnerships
💚 Advocate for outdoor recreation access and funding in our community

Our Future Leaders & Stewardship Circle helps make this work possible. It's local people supporting local recreation, and every contribution helps keep the wheels turning!

🌲 WEEK 2: Grassroot Support for TRORA 🌲

We're into Week 2 of TRORA's October Fundraising Campaign, and this week we're highlighting our Future Leaders & Stewardship Circle!

Our Future Leaders & Stewardship Circle is a grassroots way for local families, individuals, small businesses, and organizations to support outdoor recreation right here in Tumbler Ridge.

Contributions help keep TRORA operating, supporting our volunteer-led recreation clubs, and creating opportunities for local youth.

💚 It's about our community coming together, contributing what they can, and helping keep great things happening in Tumbler Ridge.

You don't have to be a big business to make a big difference!

Stay tuned this week to learn more about how you can get involved.

🌲 THE BUSINESSES BEHIND TRORA 💚

Before we wrap up Corporate Membership Week, we want to recognize the organizations that have chosen to invest in TRORA.

Our 2026 Corporate Member Champions:
💚 Conuma Resources
💚 Tumbler Ridge Community Forest
💚 Meikle Wind
💚 Versatile Vinyl
💚 CNRL (Now - 2027)
💚 Wild Root Creative

Some have supported us financially. Others have provided professional services, materials, signage, merchandise and countless hours of in-kind support.

Every one of these partnerships looks a little different — and that's something we love about this program.

Corporate Membership isn't just about putting a logo on something. It's about local businesses and industry saying:

“We believe outdoor recreation and non-profit groups are important to Tumbler Ridge, and we want to be part of its future.”

To every one of our 2026 Corporate Members: thank you for backing us. 🌲❤️

🎉 END-OF-YEAR BONUS!
Become a TRORA Corporate Member anytime between now and December 31, and your membership will carry right through 2027! That means you can join and start receiving recognition now, while securing your Corporate Membership for all of next year.

Send TRORA a message to receive our Corporate Membership package or start a conversation about what a partnership could look like. Help us build for 2027 and beyond!

💚 WHAT DOES YOUR CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP MAKE POSSIBLE?

A Corporate Membership isn't tied to one event, one trail or one project.

> It means having someone at the table advocating for outdoor recreation.
> It means helping volunteer organizations navigate sustainability, funding, partnerships, paperwork and projects.
> It means having capacity to turn good ideas into grant applications, events, programs and opportunities.
> It means supporting collaboration and youth programming

** And it means helping build something sustainable for the future — where outdoor recreation in Tumbler Ridge isn't dependent entirely on how much spare time our volunteers have. **

🌲 That's the value of investing in TRORA.

Corporate Membership helps give us the capacity to keep moving projects forward, supporting the people doing the work, and building more opportunities for our community.

We're currently welcoming 2027 Corporate Members, with annual memberships from $2,500–$15,000.

Want to be part of it? We'd love to talk. 💚

Investing in Outdoor Recreation in Tumbler Ridge

Today we're officially opening the conversation about TRORA's 2027 Corporate Memberships!

Our Corporate Membership Program gives businesses and industry a way to make a meaningful annual investment in outdoor recreation — with four levels designed to fit different organizations and levels of support.

Each level comes with its own package of recognition and benefits — and we're always happy to work with businesses to find a partnership that makes sense.

If this piques your interest, we would love to create a custom presentation for you and your company/organization.

📩 We're now looking for our 2027 Corporate Members!
