Quick Update
On Thursday, April 23rd, the club held a meeting to discuss the closure of the range following deficiencies identified in the range inspection report dated April 2, 2026.
The noted deficiencies relate to the potential for projectiles to leave our controlled property on the 300-yard and pistol ranges.
We are actively working toward reopening the range and have been in discussion with the CFO’s office regarding our remediation plan. Following a phone meeting yesterday, a path forward has been established to reopen Range #3 (the new 100-yard range). This will require the installation of additional signage and fixtures, after which we will submit proof of the upgrades to the CFO’s office for approval.
Work will continue concurrently to address the requirements needed to reopen the pistol and rifle ranges. Once approval is received to reopen Range #3, we will notify the membership.
The range will remain CLOSED for all shooting activities during this time; however, it remains open for archery.
Membership sales will resume shortly through the website tumblerridgesa.ca, with in-person sales at Moonstone Barbershop to follow soon after.
