🌈Where: NSCC Truro - McCarthy Hall Classroom - MC111

✨NOTE: MC 111 is located on the lower level of McCarthy Hall. The stairs to access the location will be at the back of the building. If you would like to attend, and have accessibility needs please send us a DM and we will ensure they are accommodated.

We were a little bit worried about the weather... but it stayed dry and we had a lovely 6km walk and chat on the trail. Thank you to everyone who came and hopefully see you in May for our Victoria Day (Victoria Park) hike!

We remember the dreadful events of six years ago and mourn with all those affected by this tragedy.

Flags at Town of Truro facilities have been lowered to half-mast in remembrance of those impacted by the tragic events of 2020 in Portapique and surrounding communities.

We honour the lives lost, stand with the families and loved ones who continue to grieve, and recognize the lasting impact felt across Nova Scotia.

Our community joins the province in reflection, remembrance, and unity.

I just sent out the details for tomorrow's hike - check your emails including your spam folder if you signed up for the hike!

The photo was from the trail today - sadly I do not think there will be the sunshine tomorrow but the trail was beautiful with birds singing, angry squirrels shouting at us and the sound of trickling water in the brook.
