TNR (or any animal rescue for that matter!) is tiring and can be emotionally taxing, but also very rewarding! ♥
The reward for us is seeing feral cats returned to their colonies to live out their lives healthier and longer. Females no longer having litter after litter, and males no longer seeking out females and fighting with other males. 😿
Seeing fiendly cats blossom and find their fur-ever homes to live out the rest of their lives indoors, safe and happy! 🐈
We would like to thank YOU, our supporters for volunteering, donating money and food, sharing our posts and just overall supporting what we do! 😽
We are ALWAYS looking for more volunteers and donations though, as there are many, many, many more cats in our county to TNR! We get at least one email a week from caregivers looking for our help! 🙏
If you would like to donate, you can send an e-transfer to [email protected] (for donations of $20 & over, if you would like a tax receipt, please put the name and postal address in the message section). You can also put money on our account at Truro Veterinary Hospital. 😻

Today, on National Feral Cat Day, let's shine a light on the many Nova Scotia rescues who dedicate huge amounts of time to TNR work! These selfless individuals pour their hearts into trapping, transporting, and caring for cats, often facing challenges and heartbreak along the way. Give a shout-out to your local TNR group in the comments below.

How can you join the movement and support their tireless efforts? Volunteer your time, donate resources, foster a furry friend, or simply spread awareness about the power of Trap-Neuter-Return. Every action counts, and together, we can make a difference! 🐾💕
