We are thrilled to announce that the old audio cassette recordings from the Group Quranic Study Sessions with , and Friday Sermons with Dr. Rashad Khalifa, held between 1982 to 1983, have now been digitally cleaned and restored for a better intelligibility and smoother learning experience.
Old audio recordings, especially those that were recorded on cassette tapes, can suffer from a number of problems over time. The tape can degrade, leading to dropouts, hiss, and other noise. The tapes can also become stretched, causing pitch problems and other issues. Additionally, the equipment used to record the audio may not have been of the highest quality, leading to poor sound quality overall.
If these issues are not addressed, the audio can become difficult to understand, and the overall listening experience can be frustrating for the listener. This is particularly problematic when it comes to educational or instructional materials, like the Quranic study sessions with Dr. Rashad Khalifa, which rely on clear and concise audio for effective learning.
By digitally cleaning and restoring the old audio recordings, we were able to remove many of the issues that had developed over time. We were able to reduce background noise and hiss, remove dropouts and clicks, and correct pitch problems. This resulted in a much clearer and more intelligible audio recording, which makes it easier for listeners to follow along with the teachings and get the most out of the learning experience.
In short, cleaning and restoring old audio recordings is an essential part of preserving valuable educational and historical materials. It ensures that the audio is accessible and easy to understand, even decades after it was originally recorded.
We understand the importance of preserving such valuable recordings, and it brings us great pleasure to share with you that these sessions are now available on our Youtube channel as a playlist. The last 38 audios in the playlist are the ones that were surfaced earlier this year, recorded from 1982 to 1983.
