Starting the week reflecting on Friday’s event: Steve A. Arshinoff O.C. was invested as an Officer of the Order of Canada at the Investiture Ceremony at Rideau Hall, presided over by Governor General Louise Arbour. He was both honoured and humbled to be among such incredible Canadians and most grateful to his twin brother, Jerry, for initiating the process.

Congratulations to Boaz Li: EFC scholar of the new revived program in Alberta. Boaz is a medical student from UBC who had the opportunity to learn from Drs. Henry Fung (retina), Edsel Ing (neuro-ophthalmology and oculoplastics), Matthew Benson (ophthalmic genetics), and many kind University of Alberta faculty members.
