Footage of the 42nd AHEPA Supreme Convention in Toronto, Canada in 1964. Courtesy of the UCLA Film & Television Archive, the newsreel comes from News of the Day, founded by William Randolph Hearst and formerly known as Hearst Metrotone News. Narrating the film is Michael Fitzmaurice, best known for his portrayal of Superman in the radio series "The Adventures of Superman." News of the Day was famous for their short-form documentaries which were incredibly popular between 1910 and 1970. This format does an incredible job preserving the memory of the 42nd AHEPA Supreme Convention, and special thanks are owed to the UCLA Film & Television Archive for their preservation of this incredible reel.

The AHEPA Toronto Year End Basketball Awards Banquet was a huge success with over 125 players and families packing the Game Time Social event space. The individual award winners were: U12 Boys MVP Spiros Prokopos, MIP Matteo Pandremenos, U14 Boys MVP Dean Pierrakos, MIP Stavros Pascos, U16 Girls MVP Selena Kostopoulos, MIP Christina Hantzakos, U16 Boys MVP Petros Prokopos, MIP Nicolas Corsianos, U19 Boys MVP Leos Kapasouris, MIP Sam Papoutsis.
Registration for next season will begin in August.

Thank you to everyone who sponsored, supported, volunteered, donated, and joined us for the 37th Annual AHEPA Toronto Charity Golf Tournament!

We were blessed with perfect weather, a beautiful course, and an incredible day together in support of our mission to promote Hellenism, Education, Philanthropy, Civic Responsibility, and Family and Individual Excellence in Canada.

The true measure of a man is not found in his title, his position, or what others can do for him.
It is found in how he treats the Brother who needs encouragement, the chapter that needs support, the young man looking for mentorship, the elder Brother who deserves respect, and the community that may never be able to repay him.
That is the spirit of AHEPA.
As AHEPA Brothers, we are called to serve with humility, dignity, and purpose. Our mission is not only to preserve our Hellenic ideals, but to live them — through service, philanthropy, education, civic responsibility, and brotherhood.
A true Brother does not ask, “What can I gain?”
He asks, “How can I help?”
When we lift one another up, when we support our chapters, when we serve our communities, and when we treat every person with respect regardless of status or benefit, we strengthen the very foundation of AHEPA.
Brotherhood is measured by service.
Leadership is measured by humility.
Character is measured when nothing is expected in return.
That is the true meaning of this quote — and that is the standard we should always strive to uphold as AHEPA Brothers.

2026 AHEPA Educational Scholarship Applications Available Online
The AHEPA Family Charitable Foundation of Canada, a charitable arm of the Order of AHEPA, is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2026 AHEPA National Scholarship season today!
Since its establishment, AHEPA has consistently dedicated itself to advancing education for the next generation. Through our financial support in the form of scholarships, we aim to alleviate the significant burden faced by today's students. The cost of education should not act as a barrier but rather mirror a student's aspiration to achieve scholastic enrichment in their young lives.
In addition to our scholastic scholarships we are also offering the fully paid "Journey to Greece" program for high school seniors and University undergraduates for a once in a life time opportunity.

Registration is now open for the 37th AHEPA Toronto Annual Charity Golf Tournament being held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at the Lebovic Golf Club.

Our annual golf tournament is one of our main fundraising events. We were extremely grateful for all of your support last year. AHEPA
Toronto was able to continue our remarkable record of 97 years of community service. We continue to support our own programs such as the AHEPA Youth Basketball, the Hellenic History Tournament, our numerous academic scholarships, and the Journey to Greece excursion for students, plus we raised funds for disaster relief, and are able to support and donate to numerous other charities and local Greek associations and communities fulfilling one of the missions of our association "philanthropy".

This year’s Tournament funds will continue to support the many worthwhile initiatives within our association and also towards our commitment of $50,000 to support the fundraising efforts for the new Hellenic Home.

The itinerary for the day is:
• Registration begins at 8:15 AM. You will receive your golfer gift bag and have a chance to purchase 50/50 raffle tickets from our friendly volunteers. A full premium breakfast buffet will be served in the club house ending at 9:45 am. You may try your luck at the putting contest prior to tee off.
• Shotgun tee-off starts at 10:00 AM sharp on one of the most beautiful golf courses in the GTA with a chance to win in the hole-in-one contest, closest to the pin contest and longest drive contest.
• Enjoy Food stations on the course, unlimited non alcoholic drinks and 3 complimentary alcoholic drinks.
• Continue after your round with networking, reliving your great round, cocktails and a premium buffet following the tournament in the air conditioned in the clubhouse.
• Raffle, Awards and Prizes to be presented.
