This week, Shia Muslims across the world observe Eid al-Ghadir, marking the anniversary of an important event in Muslim history. According to Shia belief, tradition, and interpretation of history, this occasion commemorates the pivotal gathering at Ghadir Khumm, when Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) — based on a divine command from Allah — designated Hazrat Ali as his successor and the first in the continuing line of hereditary Imams.

On Monday morning, Mawlana Hazar Imam presided over a didar in Taus, and then travelled to Lower Chitral where he granted the final didar of this visit in Garamchashma. Later in the day, Hazar Imam met with officials from the provincial government in Chitral before returning to Islamabad. Join us for the highlights and stay tuned for more updates!

On Sunday, Mawlana Hazar Imam graced a second didar in Parwak and Gahkuch Bala, after which he travelled to Gilgit, where he granted didar to Jamati members from the Gilgit region. Stay tuned for more updates from this visit!
