It’s the last week of Glorious Catastrophe by Gillian Iles!

"The roping and structural rigging evoke the feeling that the gallery itself is being held up and supported. In this installation, the rigging mimics the rafters of a house, suggesting a hidden superstructure from which surfaces seem to peel away. The result is the experience of walking through a deconstructed architectural space: part building, part unraveling structure." Gillian Iles

The exhibition will feature symbolic representations of contemporary plagues enclosed within crystal towers.

Dr. Romik repurposes leaded crystal and transforms it into these striking towers. If you have vases, glassware, or other leaded crystal homewares you would like to donate to the exhibition, please email [email protected] to arrange a drop-off.
