700 David Hornell VC RCAirCS The Cadet Program is the largest federally-sponsored youth program in Canada that includes the Royal Canadian Sea, Army and Air Cadets.

This is not an official DND site. It is strictly for the purpose of providing notification to Cadets, Parents, Staff and Sponsors of upcoming activities and creating photo galleries of past events. We parade on Fridays between 6:30-9:30pm at Thistletown Collegiate Institute, 20 Fordwich Crescent Etobicoke.

ACR is an opportunity to reflect on a year of hard work, recognize the achievements of our cadets, and celebrate the accomplishments of our squadron. While the day did not begin as we had hoped, our cadets adapted with professionalism and resilience, helping make this year’s ACR a memorable success.

We are incredibly proud of every cadet who participated and represented the squadron so well throughout the day. Congratulations to all cadets who received awards and recognition during the ceremony! Your dedication and commitment throughout the training year have not gone unnoticed.

We would also like to congratulate WO2 Popescu on his promotion to Warrant Officer First Class and appointment as Chief Squadron Warrant Officer, as well as WO2 Dhillon on his appointment as Drum Major. We look forward to seeing both of them lead the squadron in the coming training year!

As we look back on a remarkable training year, we say a heartfelt goodbye to our SWO, WO2 Rana. Her time with the squadron has been nothing short of memorable. Over the years, she has poured everything she had into this unit, and the impact she’s leaving behind is something we’re all going to feel.

She is an inspiration to everyone around her and continues to build up the people around her. We are saying goodbye to someone who poured her whole heart into making 700 Squadron feel like a community.

From all of 700, we thank you for the warmth, energy, and dedication you brought to this squadron every single week. We wish you the absolute best in all your future endeavors—you will be incredibly missed.
