📢 ☀️ As the long weekend & fireworks displays approach, it’s important to protect our pups from unnecessary distress and potential danger. Fireworks can be an exciting spectacle for us, but for many dogs, they can be a source of fear and anxiety.
Please keep your pets inside during fireworks!
▪️🏡 Provide a quiet environment for your pets to retreat to, if the noise becomes overwhelming.
▪️🦮 Keep your dog on leash during walks & potty breaks. Even during the daytime, unexpected firework noises can startle your dog, potentially causing them to run away.
▪️🦮 Ensure your dog’s collar and harness are properly fitted.
▪️🦮 Ensure your dog is wearing a collar with ID tag, and that your microchip registration information is up to date.
