Sunday, September 6 - Worship service begins at 9:30am with live-streaming beginning at 9:15am.
As school resumes this week,
students from nursery school to college and university
will be doing, learning, exploring.
Really, that's true for parents and teachers, too.
And really, true for all of us, no matter or age or stage.
One of the lessons to learn and keep learning is to STAY THE COURSE...not get sidetracked, distracted, led away or led astray by the next new, shiny thing , the offer that sounds so good, or the disouragement when it's hard or doesn't work out as you hoped.
We all need to STAY THE COURSE.
As we STAY THE COURSE in Acts, Chapter 14 has a lot of wild things, wonderful things, wounding things. Through it all, Paul and Barnabas STAY THE COURSE...which can guide and strengthen us here and now.
So join us - as we worship the Lord who is with us! Music includes "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms" "All Hail the Power" "Our God Will Go Before Us" and "Christ our Hope in Life and Death".
Kids, we have a fun time with a sumnmer activity planned, and the siong "I Am NOt My Own" - all of which can help get you set for the first week of school. NEXT SUNDAY is our annual BACKPACK BLESSING service, so bring your backpack on September 13th!
Our last Lemonade on the Lawn for the seasopn happens at the close of worhsip and the start of our week serving God and others in love.

Sunday, August 23, our service begins at 9:30am with live streaming starting at 9:15am.
There are times when it does seem that bad things happen to good people. And not just 'seem' but actually happens!!!
Tomorrow at worship, that's our focus as we seek to be faithful and find the way forward in those times, in these times.
Join us for worship this Sunday and be encouraged, share your prayers and presence, and lift your voice and heart in praise.
Music includes "Ten Thousand Reasons" "He is Lord" "O Lord, My Rock and My Redeemer" "When I Am Afraid" "He Will Hold Me Fast" and "It is Well".

Weโ€™re collecting the items pictured below to help us get the backpacks packed and ready to go. We need your help! ๐Ÿ™Œ

They're everywhere.
Telling you what to do and not do,
where to go, and not go,
who is included and who is not.
Signs offer a message.
The Church, God's people, also have a message.
In more ways than a sign.
Tomorrow in worship, we'll be exposing "GOD'S MESSAGE FOR THE WORLD". Don't miss this time to worship the Lord and be with your church family!
Lemonade on the Lawn. Music to nourish your soul from the majestic "Immortal Invisible, God Only Wise" to the traditional spiritual "I'm Gonna Live So God Can Use Me".
Opportunities to serve - remember to pick up a tag or two or three for our PACK THE KINDNESS school backpack project. (Most items can be purchased at a dollar store!) Remember to bring items for VBC - decorations included - anything tropical!
