One of the many valuable functions of our local Kiwanis Club is supporting the Meals On Wheels program for vulnerable and elderly residents in partnership with the SHA.

Rising fuel costs have had an impact on the volunteer base, so we decided to donate some gas cards for the Meals On Wheels volunteers.

The Youth Wellness Conference took place on May 12th at All Saints and Ecole Centennial Schools. Grade 6 to 8 students from Irwin, Central, Fairview, All Saints & Ecole Centennial attended this conference. In total 692 students were present. Alwin Law and Tim Emmett were speakers for this conference this year. Everyone enjoyed it and thought that speakers gave a great message about resilience, perseverance, planning and success in life!
