Congratulations to all the newly elected and re-elected mayors and councillors across York Region. A special congratulations to our local Mayor-elect, Dale Kerr Genge, in Georgina. We look forward to continuing to work closely with your office to support our immediate community, while collaborating with leadership across the entire region to build a stronger, more connected York Region. We would also like to thank all candidates who participated in the municipal elections for stepping forward and demonstrating their commitment to serving our communities.

⚠️ Important QuestBus Service Update

Due to significant damage sustained during a recent incident, the QuestBus is currently out of service indefinitely. We are very grateful that no one was injured.
As this matter is currently under investigation, Routes will not be commenting further on the circumstances of the incident at this time.
All scheduled QuestBus programming and paid charters are cancelled until further notice. Routes continues to offer individual transportation through our Volunteer Transportation Program and Accessible Vehicle Service, subject to availability.

Please review the notice below for alternative transportation options or contact us at 905-722-4616 for support.

We will share further service updates as they become available.

Congratulations to Susan Lahey on her appointment as Parliamentary Assistant to the Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions!

At Routes Connecting Communities, we’re seeing an increasing need for mental health supports as more of the individuals we serve navigate complex challenges that impact their well-being and independence. Access to appropriate, compassionate support is essential to building healthier, more connected communities.

We look forward to being a resource and community partner as MPP Lahey takes on this important role. We’re confident that, under her leadership, we can continue to make meaningful progress toward strengthening mental health and addictions supports for individuals and families across Ontario.
