Our annual Halloween Parade was a hit. Of course, a little candy never hurts when it comes to drawing a crowd. 🎃🍬

Elvis, a scarecrow, witches, a hippie and many more joined our residents for an afternoon of fun as the halls of Parkview Home filled with music and laughter.

Our residents enjoyed the costumes, familiar tunes and, of course, the sweet treats along the way. Thank you to our staff and everyone who took part in making this annual tradition one our residents and team continue to enjoy.

A Wonderful Journey Through Mennonite Country!
Parkview Village embarked on a memorable journey through Mennonite communities, enjoying a day filled with history, culture, laughter, and delicious food!
Our adventure began at the Mennonite Story, where we enjoyed an interesting history lesson and learned about the Old Order Mennonites, their traditions, and their way of life.
Next, we headed to the charming village of St. Jacobs, where everyone enjoyed some shopping and exploring the local shops.
The fun continued with a hilarious comedy performance, Barry and Jonas in the Home, at the local theatre. There certainly wasn't a shortage of laughter, as the audience was in stitches!
To top off our wonderful day, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at Anna Mae's, famous for its homemade food and traditional Mennonite cooking. It was the perfect way to end our adventure!
With beautiful weather, wonderful company, plenty of laughter, and so much to learn, it was truly a fantastic day exploring Mennonite heritage and traditions.
What a wonderful day of making memories together!

On October 1, every seat was filled at Meadowbrook Golf Club for Parkview Services for Seniors’ fundraising gala, “An Evening for Generations.” It was an evening of community, warmth and connection, shared by people who care deeply about those who call Parkview home.

We were honoured to have two of Stouffville’s own join us: Jim Mason, our master of ceremonies for the second year in a row, who guided us through the night with warmth and humour, and TSN SportsCentre anchor Jermain Franklin, who captivated us with his stories and experiences, offering meaningful moments of reflection and inspiration that made the evening all the more memorable.

With gratitude to our Presenting Sponsor, Silver Fox Pharmacy, returning for a second year; our Reception Sponsor, Ledgemark; and our Event Sponsors, Complete Purchasing Services, Alpha Catering, Current Code Electric, Borlak Law, O’Neill Funeral Home, Welcome Home Care and People Corporation.

Thank you to our donors, community partners, volunteers, staff and everyone who joined us. Your support made this evening possible.

A special thank you to our talented Vikktoria for her beautiful photography and video work, and to our Parkview team for the time, care and heart you put into every detail. We are so grateful for you.

Thank you for making “An Evening for Generations” a night to remember. It meant so much to have you with us. We look forward to welcoming you back next year.

Parkview Village recognizes Truth and Reconciliation Day.
Today, we honour the children who were forced to endure unimaginable treatment in Canada’s Residential School system, and we remember the survivors, families, and communities whose lives continue to be affected by this painful history.
Every Child Matters is more than a message—it is a reminder of our shared responsibility to listen, learn, remember, and work toward reconciliation.
Today and every day, we honour the children and their families, and stand committed to remembering their stories.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Parkview Services for Seniors’ Silver Fox Walk in support of the Terry Fox Foundation.

More than 70 residents, tenants, staff, families and volunteers came together for a beautiful afternoon of walking, cheering and supporting one another.

A special thank you to Jim Mason for stopping by, greeting our walkers and helping us begin the afternoon. Thank you as well to the amazing students and teachers from SDSS who came out to participate and cheer everyone on along the route. We are also very grateful to our staff and volunteers who made time in their day to help make the event such a success.

Together, we exceeded our fundraising goal.

Behind every step taken was a personal reason: someone we love, someone we have lost, someone still fighting or the hope that one day fewer families will be affected by cancer. Coming together reminded us that no one faces that journey alone and that every step and every donation helps advance cancer research and carry Terry’s Marathon of Hope forward.

Thank you to everyone who walked, volunteered, donated and cheered us on. We loved spending this beautiful afternoon together and hope to see everyone again next year.

With the generous support of funding from OACAO (Older Adult Centres’ Association of Ontario), Parkview Village was proud to host a Connected Living Seniors Services Open House.
The event brought together residents and members of the wider Whitchurch-Stouffville community for a fantastic day filled with valuable community resources, health and wellness presentations, educational materials, a healthy lunch, and swag from our many participating vendors.
We were especially pleased to welcome Iain Lovatt, Mayor of Whitchurch-Stouffville, and Paul Calandra, MPP for Markham-Stouffville, who shared remarks with attendees. Hamlet Nation, CEO of Parkview Services for Seniors, welcomed guests and spoke about the importance of supporting older adults and creating opportunities for connection, engagement, and healthy aging within our community.
It was a wonderful day that provided meaningful information, resources, and connections for Parkview Village residents and members of the broader Whitchurch-Stouffville community.
We are grateful to everyone who participated, volunteered, presented, and helped make the event such a success. We look forward to another great event next year!
