Today our parish celebrated its 75th Anniversary with a beautiful Mass and a wonderful gathering of parishioners, former pastors, and clergy who have served our community throughout the decades.

We were honoured to welcome Most Reverend Wayne Lobsinger, Auxiliary Bishop of Hamilton, along with several priests who have played an important role in the life of our parish over the years.

This celebration was a reminder of the faith, dedication, and generosity of the generations of parishioners who have helped build our community over the past 75 years.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this special milestone and to all those who helped make the celebration possible. May God continue to bless our parish and guide us in the years ahead.

Happy 75th Anniversary!

Most Sacred heart of Jesus, have mercy on us🙏

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, a powerful sign of Christ’s boundless love, mercy, and compassion for all humanity.

In his pastoral letter, Resting in the Heart of Jesus, Bishop Dabrowski writes:

"Therefore, as your bishop, I invite every member of our diocesan family in our homes, parishes, schools, and Catholic institutions to renew devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In a world marked by division, suffering, and uncertainty, let us turn to the Heart of Jesus with confidence."

A few moments from yesterday’s beautiful Ordination Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King.

We give thanks to God for the gift of Deacon Paul’s vocation and for the opportunity to witness this sacred milestone in the life of the Church.

Please continue to keep Deacon Paul in your prayers as he begins his ministry of service.

Today, our parish joyfully celebrated the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, a beautiful reminder that Christ remains truly present among us in the Holy Eucharist. Through the gift of His Body and Blood, we are nourished, strengthened, and united as one family in faith.

We were especially blessed to welcome Bishop Joseph Afrifah-Agyekum from Ghana, whose presence added to the joy of our celebration. We also had the privilege of hearing a wonderful homily from Deacon Paul Dobrowolski during his first Mass as a deacon. His reflection on the Eucharist reminded us of Christ's abiding presence and the call to carry that presence into our daily lives.

Following Mass, our parish community gathered together in fellowship and celebration, giving thanks for the many blessings God continues to pour out upon us.

As we reflect on the mystery of Corpus Christi, may we grow ever closer to Jesus in the Eucharist and become His hands and feet in the world.

Today we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, also known as the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, as we publicly honor Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament. There will be a procession with the Blessed Sacrament after all Masses except the 12:00 noon Mass. After the 12:00 noon Mass, there will be short Adoration, followed by a reception for Deacon Paul.

“Corpus Christi” means “the Body of Christ.” The Church’s focus on this feast is the Sacrament of Christ’s real presence—the Blessed Sacrament. In this Sacrament, God continues to draw us into His life and gives us communion through the true gift of His Body and Blood.

Jesus doesn’t give us something symbolic to admire; He gives “true food” and “true drink,” so that whoever receives Him “abide[s] in me, and I in them.” John 6:56.
