One of our favourite initiatives of the year is officially back!!

Today, we’re kicking off FLOW Management’s 2026 School Supply Drive collection, running from June 1st to August 8th, and we’re inviting our friends, partners, colleagues, and community members to join us.

Over the last few years, with the support of our amazing community, we’ve distributed more than 400 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students in need. Every year, we’re reminded of what can happen when a community comes together around a shared purpose.

This year, we’re once again asking for your support.
We’re collecting:
🎒 New backpacks
📚 School supplies
💰 Financial contributions
🤝 Community and corporate partners

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps create a stronger start to the school year for a student.

Our goal is simple: provide students with the tools they need to start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

Back-to-school is more than pencils and notebooks—it’s about ensuring equity, access, and confidence for every student walking into a classroom. When we meet these needs together, we’re not just preparing students for a year of learning—we’re empowering them for a future of possibility.

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of taking 20 Black students from McMaster University on an exclusive tour of Amazon’s fulfillment center and corporate headquarters as part of our Black Youth Career Discovery Day Initiative.

This experience was more than just a tour—it was an opportunity to broaden perspectives, break barriers, and spark new aspirations. From witnessing cutting-edge technology in action to engaging in insightful discussions with Black professionals at Amazon, students gained firsthand exposure to career opportunities in tech, business, and corporate leadership.

Our goal was clear: to provide access, expand career possibilities, and create meaningful connections between students and Black professionals excelling in their fields.

Key Highlights of the Day Included:

✅ Touring the fulfillment center to see Amazon’s logistics and innovation in action

✅ Engaging with Black professionals across various departments

✅ Gaining career insights through an interactive panel discussion on growth, internships, and leadership

✅ Building networks and gain mentorship from industry leaders who’ve been in their shoes

Representation and access matter. When students see themselves reflected in these spaces, it reinforces what’s possible and empowers them to step forward with confidence.

On August 10th, in celebration of International Youth Day, we hosted our First annual backpack drive for the youth in Ward 3 of Hamilton, ON.

With the incredible support of our community, we were able to collect and distribute 243 backpacks, equipping our youth with the tools they need for a successful school year ahead.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed in making this event a success!

Investing in our youth is not just about providing resources—but empowering them to be the leaders, and change-makers who will shape our tomorrow. International Youth Day serves as a reminder of the power and potential of young people and the impact they can have.
