This past week was Lions International Vision Week. Did you know that Lynn Russell, of Lifetime Vision, has worked and continues to work with Lions International bringing vision to citizens in Bolivia? Using eyeglasses that have been donated, and refurbished with the Lions eyeglass recycling program. We've had the pleasure of hearing about her experience. Pictured here is Lion Treasurer Rob Stuart and Lion President Evelyn Albers presenting Lynn with a cheque to help in her continued work. Thank you Lynn for the work you do! Thank you to all St Marys Residents who donate their used glasses to Lions Eyeglass Recycling Program at both Lifetime Vision and St Marys Optometry! You help make a difference beyond your own little community! (Photo courtesy of Lion Tony Reynen)
