IPMS St. John's NL IPMS SJ is a site for members of the St. We promote the hobby through building and sharing our work. Drop us a line!

John's Chapter of the International Plastic Modellers Society, and anyone interested in the hobby and the local chapter. We are a group of people who enjoy the hobby of plastic model building. Our members interests range from Aircraft, Automobiles, Ships, Figures, Armour, to Sci Fi. We have all skill levels from beginners to some pretty talented modellers, but we mainly meet to share our work, ideas,
tips and techniques, and talk about modelling in general.

Just a reminder that the June IPMS-SJ Monthly Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 1st Floor, Knights of Columbus, 49 St. Clare Avenue. Meeting will run from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Meeting Theme:
Any auto builds including old builds, new builds, unbuilt kits - whatever that has to do with auto modelling. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, 2- wheels, 3-wheels, 4-wheels, 6-wheels, more wheels, kit bashes, whatever!

Topics for Club Meeting:

1. Show-and-Tell – in addition to the auto theme, bring in new and/or in-progress builds

2. Reminder to pay Dues - $20 for the year. Must be a paid member to enter club contests and/or vote at meetings. Of course, regardless of membership, everyone is welcome.

3. Club Day II – set for November 14th at Knights of Columbus

4. Show Update:
a. Tentatively booked at the Knights of Columbus for either October 17th or 24th
b. Still need membership assistance in securing donations for the show – either cash donations or items that can be raffled
c. Show Chairperson, Jessica Vey, still looking for volunteers to help out with the Show Committee. Putting off a show takes a lot of work but many hands make the work a lot easier.

Sword 'n' Steele is a very diverse Hobby Shop right here in our city.

They carry Mini's, Figures, Plastic Model kits, Paints, Tools and Accessories, cards and so much more.
And if they don't have it, they can order it in.

It is worth a trip to visit this shop. You will be not be disappointed.

We'd like to send out a thank you for everyone who stopped by the booth to see some of our our clubs work.

There were 222 entries for our Gundam giveaway alone! That is a huge step up from last year.

We'd also like to extend a very large scale thank you to Sci-Fi on the Rock for having us again. It's always a blast to be here.

We hope to see everyone again next year. Until then, live long and prosper.
