ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!!!

Althrough we are sad to see the summer come to an end, we are SO excited that it means we are heading back to cadets!! ☺️⚓️

Navy League cadets is a FREE to join program that offers youth ages 9-12 a positive learning experience in a nautical-themed environment.

Our program helps emphasize teamwork and help young people develop leadership skills, confidence, good citizenship, and respect for themselves and for others. We strive to help kids become the best version of themselves, help them see the power they have to do anything they put their mind too.

We offer a variety of experiences and opportunities that include boat work and safety, archery, sports, outings/field trips, seamanship, first aid, archery, summer camps, movie nights, community involvement, and so much more.

There is so much to offer as a member of Navy League cadets and something for everyone!

Our weekly Monday evenings take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56 Pleasantville building located 930 The Boulevard, St. John’s, NL.

🌈 Happy Pride Season!

As Pride Season begins, we recognize the contributions, achievements, and resilience of 2SLGBTQI+ communities.

Cadets and JCRs are part of diverse and welcoming programs that value respect, dignity, accessibility, and inclusion for all.

Pride Season is a time to recognize and celebrate the many identities, experiences, and perspectives that make up our communities. 🏳️‍🌈

Every year on the first Sunday in May, and on this 81st anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic, Cadets from Coast to Coast to Coast alongside members of the Royal Canadian Navy and their families remember all who gave their lives in this conflict. We commemorate their struggle, sacrifice, and loss, while also celebrating their heroism and courage in the face of daunting obstacles such as horrible weather, high seas, cramped quarters, and the ever-present threat of submarine attacks. Their legacy inspires us to face our own challenges with the same bravery and resilience.
