Shout out to Abby and Sara! They have given up nearly a month of summer, both last year AND this year, volunteering their time serving their teen peers at RockRidge Canyon (Young Life Camp), in Princeton, BC. They are the BEST.

Do you like cycling? Not sure? Curious enough to find out? The Young Life Fondo might be the perfect excuse. The YL Fondo combines the joy of cycling with the opportunity to invest in local youth here in Parkland. Similar to other charity rides, participants raise sponsorship support from their networks and ride together to help fund mentoring relationships, camps and programs that connect teens with caring adults. This years River Valley Fondo rolls out on September 12th, and we're looking for a few more riders to join the adventure. No spandex requirement (BUT we strongly suggest for comfort), a willingness to ride, have FUN, make new friends and support a great cause. Andrew Jack & Rae-Lee Christie are geared up and registered, they just need YOU!! Our goal is to raise $10,000 😀

wYLdLife Wednesday this week! Looking forward to seeing everyone again - hope you all had a great Easter & Spring Break. This week we will have CLUB hosted at the Jack’s house again (my house). The fun we have planned involves food and the school gym doesn’t permit us to have food. (so we will have it at 9 Miller Place again!) Friends always welcome. (no pressure to bring favourite cereal….only if your kiddo is extra particular and might not eat what we will be providing 😉) Thanks folks! Remember, GRADE 5’s welcome for the rest of the year!

Do you have or know youth in Grade 5? This time of the year, we open up our WYLdLife Club program to include them so they can "come & see" if they want to get involved in the Fall! Spread the word!
