We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support from our community this week. Thanks to all of you, we are officially SOLD OUT and will be closing early today!

We appreciate everyone who stopped by to shop local, support local growers, and make our opening week such a success. It was nice to see so many of you after a long winter!

Don't worry—we'll be back next Wednesday with another fresh selection of affordable local Algoma produce and other great finds!

Thank you to Jeff and Chef Ron at Harvest Algoma for showing me around their facility today! You run an impressive food rescue operation! 🤩

We also want to thank you for sending me on my way with 1,072 lbs of rescued food, which our organization was able to distribute to other agencies, community organizations, and numerous families across the North Shore and Elliot Lake.

Your commitment to addressing food insecurity throughout the Algoma region is making a real difference, and we’re incredibly grateful for all that you do. ❤️

📣We have some wonderful news to share with our community.

Thanks to the incredible support of our funders, donors, and volunteers, Harvest Kitchen has successfully secured funding to continue our food security programming through to the end of September.

This means we can keep doing what matters most—bringing people together over warm meals, connection, and support.

Program Schedule:

April 20th – June 29th
Mondays | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

July – September
Wednesdays | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

As we move into the summer months, we’re excited to introduce a new feature of HK. Our July–September program will include a fresh veggie initiative, along with coffee and healthy snacks for our guests.

The Trifecta Experience will also be setting up a produce shop starting in May in the main lobby of the Elliot Lake Granite Sport & Social Club., helping to support and deliver this fresh food program to our community.

We are deeply grateful—to our funders, to everyone who has donated, and to the dedicated volunteers who continue to make Harvest Kitchen such a welcoming and joyful space.

Because of you, this program continues to grow and serve those who need it most.

Everyone is always welcome—no expectation to pay, no judgment, no barriers. ❤️
