We're Back!✈️

The new cadet training year is right around the corner! 🥳

In just two weeks, cadets will begin another year of training, adventures, community events, and everything that comes with being a cadet.

We are very excited to see what is planned for this year and to share more of it along the way.

🗓️Training Starts: Tuesday, September 15th, 2026.

📍Location: Northport Elementary School - 1000 Waterloo Street, Port Elgin, ON N0H 2C2.

⏰Time: 6:15 PM - 8:45 PM

On Saturday, June 20, cadets had the opportunity to participate in a flight familiarization with Capt. Schoettler, departing from the Kincardine Airport.

Cadets enjoyed seeing the area from the air and experiencing flight firsthand. It was a fun and memorable experience, and the cadets were very appreciative of the opportunity.

A special thank you to Capt. Schoettler for volunteering his time and making this experience possible for our cadets. ✈️

On Sunday, June 14, the cadets had the amazing opportunity to attend the Barrie Airshow. Before heading to the waterfront, cadets and staff met with members of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds team. They had the chance to speak with the pilots and learn more about aviation and military flying.

The cadets enjoyed an incredible day of aerial displays, aviation exhibits, and military demonstrations. It was a memorable experience, and the cadets were very grateful for the opportunity. ✈️🇨🇦

Members of the 340 Griffin Squadron came in for the CO’s Parade looking sharp on the night of March 31st , with crisp uniforms, mirror-shine boots, and great enthusiasm!

A special congratulations to Anu Osinowo from AC to LAC || Cumming’s, Onome-Irekefe, Shad and Talukder from Cpl to Fcpl || Trevail, Shivaswamy, Osinowo, Meyer, Mehta, Hodgkins and Harris from Fcpl to Sgt || Walia from Sgt to Fsgt || FCpl Ouriachi on earning her distingished marksmanship badge, their well-earned promotions. Your hard work, discipline, and consistency led to great success.
