Paul-Émile “Paul” Boisvert
Few people know the history of St. Paul quite like Paul Boisvert.
A lifelong resident of St. Paul since 1946, Paul spent more than three decades as a teacher, principal, and deputy superintendent before dedicating much of his retirement to preserving and sharing the stories that shaped our community.
For UFO enthusiasts, Paul offers a unique perspective on one of Canada’s most fascinating UFO landmarks—the St. Paul UFO Landing Pad. Through decades of research, interviews, and historical investigation, he has uncovered many of the stories behind the stories, including the people, events, and local legends that helped put St. Paul on the map as an international UFO destination.
Paul has written extensively on local history and has shared his knowledge through numerous media appearances, including interviews on CBC Radio. He is also very acquainted with the work of Fernand Belzil, one of Canada’s best-known investigators of unexplained cattle mutilation cases, gaining firsthand insight into some of Alberta’s most intriguing mysteries.
