Paul-Émile “Paul” Boisvert

Few people know the history of St. Paul quite like Paul Boisvert.

A lifelong resident of St. Paul since 1946, Paul spent more than three decades as a teacher, principal, and deputy superintendent before dedicating much of his retirement to preserving and sharing the stories that shaped our community.

For UFO enthusiasts, Paul offers a unique perspective on one of Canada’s most fascinating UFO landmarks—the St. Paul UFO Landing Pad. Through decades of research, interviews, and historical investigation, he has uncovered many of the stories behind the stories, including the people, events, and local legends that helped put St. Paul on the map as an international UFO destination.

Paul has written extensively on local history and has shared his knowledge through numerous media appearances, including interviews on CBC Radio. He is also very acquainted with the work of Fernand Belzil, one of Canada’s best-known investigators of unexplained cattle mutilation cases, gaining firsthand insight into some of Alberta’s most intriguing mysteries.

From the creation of the world’s first UFO Landing Pad to local sightings, famous visitors, and the fascinating characters who helped build St. Paul’s reputation as Canada’s UFO Capital, Paul’s presentation promises a captivating look at the history, mystery, and legends that continue to draw visitors from around the world.

👽 Did You Know? St. Paul is the centennial capital of Canada……

When most people think of the St. Paul UFO Landing Pad, they think of a quirky roadside attraction.

But behind one of Canada’s most famous UFO landmarks was a local visionary named Margo Lagassé.

Back in 1967, as communities across Canada celebrated the Centennial, Margo helped champion the idea of creating something truly unforgettable. Along with other community leaders and volunteers, she helped transform an ambitious idea into what would become the world’s first UFO Landing Pad.

The project gained national attention and helped St. Paul earn the title of Canada’s Centennial Capital—a remarkable achievement for a small Alberta community and a testament to the creativity and community spirit of the time.

Margo was also a talented artist, and visitors can still see examples of her artwork at the St. Paul Museum, including pieces connected to the Centennial era and the story of the Landing Pad itself.

Nearly 60 years later, the world’s first UFO Landing Pad continues to attract visitors from around the globe and remains one of Alberta’s most unique landmarks.

🚀 Not bad for an idea that was considered a little “out of this world.”

The next time you visit the Landing Pad or the St. Paul Museum, remember the people like Margo Lagassé whose imagination helped put St. Paul on the map.

👽🍋 EMERGENCY LANDING REPORT 🍋👽

A friendly alien crash-landed in St. Paul ..… and immediately began searching for fuel.

Not spaceship fuel.

LEMONADE. 🚀🍋

After visiting several incredible young entrepreneurs participating in National Lemonade Day, our extraterrestrial visitor sampled refreshments from across the galaxy (or at least across town) and posed for photos with some of St. Paul’s brightest future business owners.

We’d like to report that Earth lemonade has officially received a 5-star rating. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A huge congratulations to all the kids who set up lemonade stands today. Your creativity, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit are truly out of this world!

The invasion is beginning… one cup of lemonade at a time. 🍋🛸
