💐 Looking for a meaningful Mother’s Day activity this weekend?

Take a stroll through St. Paul and experience the Mother’s Day Art Walk (see the attached pics), a self‑guided walk celebrating love, motherhood, children, and community. ❤️🎨

Created by the Portage College Hospitality & Tourism students, this art walk invites you and your mom (or someone special) to explore local art pieces.

✨ What to expect:
A relaxing, self‑paced walk around town
Thought‑provoking and heartfelt local art
Fun moments like photo challenges and reflection prompts
A chance to slow down and create memories together

Whether it’s sharing a laugh at the UFO Landing Pad 👽, having a moment of gratitude at the Tree of Life 🌳, or simply enjoying time together, this is a simple and meaningful way to celebrate Mother’s Day.

Last week, Portage College Hospitality & Tourism students presented their final projects developed in collaboration with St. Paul Champions for Change. We’re so inspired by their creativity! From scavenger hunt maps and themed brochures to engaging social media videos, their work highlights new ways to experience St. Paul’s public art.
We’re excited to share these projects with our community in the future and thank the instructor and students for their innovative ideas and passion for St. Paul! 💛

🎨 Volunteers Needed – Help Us Finish Our Community Banners! 🎨

We’re looking for **6 more volunteers** to help complete our community banners by the end of April!

No experience? No problem! Support and guidance are available through the St. Paul Visual Arts Centre for the next couple of Wednesdays from 6:30–9:00pm.

Come lend a hand, get creative, and be part of something that brightens our community 💛

When: March 18 | 5–7 PM
Where: Portage College St. Paul Campus Event Centre
Free event – donations for the St. Paul Food Bank welcome!

✨ Host a Cultural Table ✨
• Represent a country or culture (one table per culture)
• Serve ~200 sample-size portions of traditional food
• Share your culture with decorations, photos, flags, or stories
• Reimbursement for food supplies will be provided with receipts. 👉Some restrictions may apply. Please contact Edna prior to purchasing supplies to confirm eligibility.

🎟 Visit the Town of St. Paul table that evening to pick up your passport! Get it stamped as you explore each cultural table and enter to win a giveaway.
