🚧 Thorold EarlyON Closure Notice 🚧

Due to building construction, our Thorold EarlyON Centre will be closed on Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30.

We look forward to welcoming children and families to our temporary program locations beginning July 2 while construction is underway.

Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and understanding during this transition. We appreciate your support and can't wait to see you soon as we continue learning, playing, and connecting together!

💧🌊 Water Play & Waterways at St. Anthony EarlyON 🌊💧

Our little explorers had a wonderful time outdoors last week investigating water through play! Children poured, splashed, scooped, and experimented as they explored the theme of Water Play and Waterways.

Water play is more than just fun - it helps children develop fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, early math and science concepts, creativity, and an understanding of cause and effect. It also encourages cooperation, communication, and sensory exploration.

As we wrapped up our outdoor adventures together, we were reminded of how much learning can happen through simple, hands-on experiences in nature.

🦋 Little hands, big creativity at our Grantham EarlyON Centre!

Families had so much fun creating colourful tissue paper butterflies - cutting, gluing, and spraying to bring their masterpieces to life. This hands-on activity not only sparked imagination but also supported fine motor development in a playful way.

Just like our little artists, every butterfly turned out beautifully unique!

🧡❤️🖤🤍 Honouring National Indigenous Peoples Day 🧡❤️🖤🤍

On June 21st, children and families came together to recognize National Indigenous Peoples Day through a collaborative painting experience using the colours of the Medicine Wheel.

The Medicine Wheel is a sacred teaching used by many Indigenous Peoples. While teachings can vary among Nations and communities, the four colours often represent the interconnectedness of the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of life, reminding us of the importance of balance, respect, and connection.

As families painted together, we took time to learn, reflect, and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in this meaningful activity as we continue to foster learning, understanding, and respect in our EarlyON communities.

Families are invited to celebrate the start of summer with us at our St. Anthony EarlyON Centre on Thursday, June 25 - our final day before our summer break!

This year, our littlest artists put their best foot (or bum!) forward, creating a keepsake that's truly out of this world. These adorable creations are a reminder that love really does go "to the moon and back."

We had a beary special afternoon this past Tuesday at Fairview EarlyON! 🧸

First-year medical students from McMaster University’s Niagara Regional Campus joined us for a fun and interactive Teddy Bear Clinic, helping little ones care for their favourite furry friends.

From becoming “germ busters” with handwashing, to taking X-rays, performing teddy surgeries, and checking heartbeats with real stethoscopes—children explored the world of healthcare through play. They even got moving in the fitness zone and learned how to fuel their bodies (and their teddies!) with healthy foods!

Thank you to the amazing students for creating such a playful, engaging, and educational experience for our families!
