St. Patrick's Day Muscular Dystrophy Tour a success!!

The band visited the Crown and Tower, Grenier, Summit AND Morinville Boston Pizzas, and we played our tunes for some outstanding crowds to raise money for our union Muscular Dystrophy campaign. Hands were clapping, hips were moving, songs were singing, birthday parties were cheering, and BABIES were held!

In total, we raised $3003.30 in less than 60 minutes of playing!!!! HOOOOOOOLLLLY MOOOOOOOOOLY! THANK YOU St. Albert, THANK YOU Morinville!! We love you we love you we love you we love you and we can not wait to play for you again!

Bagpipes have been played for hundreds of years and are widely recognised as a traditional Scottish instrument. But their sound is truly global! Just look at the World Pipe Band Championships, where pipe bands from all over the world come together to celebrate this iconic instrument.

Today is the perfect day to celebrate the rich history, culture, and unmistakable sound of the bagpipes.

Today the band, with the help of the St.Albert Firefighters honour guard, paraded our firefighter volunteers to the roof of station 2 to kickstart the Muscular Dystrophy campaign rooftop campout.

If you would like to donate, the fire donation boots will be out in full force at the front of fire station 2 in St. Albert. Your donations are appreciated!

It was an honour to perform at the St. Albert Remembrance Day parade today. Playing in this event was a milestone for the band as it marks our first ever performance in a parade. Thank you to all who attended this tribute to our fallen heroes.
