To the players, parents, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who donated, collected, organized, and delivered food for the Rockwood Lions Community Pantry, thank you. Your generosity, kindness, and community spirit will make a meaningful difference for local individuals and families who rely on the pantry’s support.

The amount of food collected is truly incredible, and it will go a long way in helping us meet the growing needs within our community.

Join us for the 2nd Annual "Stuff the Net" Community Food Drive!

Rockwood FC is proud to support the Rockwood Lions Community Pantry with our food drive this year — and we need your help to make it a success!

In conjunction with team photo days, we're inviting all Rockwood FC families and the whole community to join us in giving back.

What to bring:
Non-perishable food items — every can, box, and bag helps support local families in need.

Most requested items are:
Canned vegetables
Pasta & sauce
Instant coffee
Toilet paper
Shampoo & conditioner
Body soap

Where:
Drexler Sports Fields, Rockwood

When:
Rockwood FC Photo Days
Wed May 27th - 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Sat June 13th - 8:00am to 12:00pm

It’s National Volunteer Week, and we’re taking a moment to recognize the incredible people behind the Rockwood Community Pantry 💛

A proud Rockwood Lions Service Project, every single part of this initiative is powered by 100% volunteers. From organizing donations, stocking shelves, and welcoming community members, to coordinating logistics and showing up week after week, this work simply wouldn’t happen without their dedication, compassion, and heart.

Because of our volunteers, neighbours are supported, connections are built, and our community grows stronger every day.

To each and every volunteer, thank you. Your time and energy truly make a difference.

It’s hard to know where to begin when so many hands and hearts came together to create such a truly special evening. Tonight’s community Christmas dinner was a beautiful reminder of what makes our community so strong. ❤️

From the choir of the Older Adult Centre filling the room with carols and setting the perfect tone, to the incredible volunteers who gave their time, energy, and care, thank you. A special shout out to our new young volunteer for the homemade soup that warmed everyone, and to Life Vine Rockwood for the stunning centrepieces that made the room feel extra festive.

It was a wonderful evening filled with kindness, connection, and the true spirit of Christmas. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make it happen. 🎄✨
