Hi all game developers. This Thursday (6:30 pm at library) we have a special treat in store. Eric Bishop (bio enclosed) will be giving an overview of the difference between 2D/3D and VR. We will look at VR tools and also discuss the difference between Google Cardboard, Oculus Rift and other VR viewers. Whooohooooo

Eric Bishop
including one from the former "Ubisoft Campus" and have about a year of experience working as a designer for an indie video game studio in Montreal. I am currently studying Economic Game Design at an established Parisian school which has a branch in our city. Due to the fact I am studying in a French school and due to the fact that this program is only about 4 years old, after I graduate I might possibly be the first native English speaking Economic Game Design graduate in America. What I bring to the table is my technical game development knowledge such as game engines, art & a variety of software as well as my theoretical knowledge like design, modern networking & some understanding of software monetization. The reason I would like to assist in these sessions is because when I was younger I didn't have much of a support group that guided me in the right direction in terms of my skills and what I would enjoy as a career which meant I had to figure everything out myself and that caused me to waste a lot of time, so I would like to give back to the community by introducing kids to knowledge that could be useful for their future regardless of what they decide to do.
