The 500m gong frame has been replaced.

The big ram target has been retired. It hardly moved or made any noise when hit, and most significantly, it’s far too heavy for me to hang by myself.

Also, I’ve always hated it.

It’s been replaced with the 20” square plate from the 200m and the 16” round that was at 500 is at 200 now.

The 20” will give a lot better audible feedback on hits and it’s much easier to spot impacts on it.

From left to right at 500m: 6” round, 10” round, 20” square, 4” round and 3” round.

Range is open again.

The whole range will be closed this morning, Tuesday the 28th, for downrange maintenance. I hope to be done by noon.

Modern treated wood is absolute garbage. The 500m gong frame is down until I figure out what to do about it.

Safari Rifle/Big Bore Rifle Shoot has been postponed! Due to the difficulties in getting reloading supplies and ammunition for these calibres we have to move the shoot to later in the year. Date to be announced.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of shooting 3 gun at the PCFGA.

Next weekend, June 27/28, we will be hosting our 20th Anniversary Match.

The range will be closed from 5pm, Friday the 26th, until 5pm, Sunday the 28th, to accommodate setup and the match.

Registration starts at 8:30 Saturday morning, safety briefing at 9:30, and shooting at 10.

Spectators are welcome and must wear eye and ear protection beyond the parking lot.
