The world is gathering in Canada this summer. ⚽️ Between the excitement, come recharge in Parksville Qualicum Beach and enjoy flavours from our corner of the world.

Start your Saturday at the QB Farmers Market or Fresh • Local • Community, then let the Parksville Qualicum Beach Passport Tour lead the way — small-batch coffee, craft beer under hanging ferns, legendary cinnamon buns, and a countryside cider flight.

This World Oceans Day, we’re saying thank you.

We’re lucky to have passionate local groups dedicated to protecting the ocean and marine life right here in Parksville Qualicum Beach.

✔️Ocean EcoVentures has been educating guests and supporting marine research on the water since 2003.

✔️Deep Bay Marine Field Station is a hub for marine research, education, and stewardship, helping people connect with Salish Sea ecology.

✔️Surfrider Foundation Mid-Island organises beach and harbour clean-ups — removing plastics and debris from our coastal waters. Join them on June 13 from 11am–1pm for their 5th beach clean (we’ve popped the details in our bio).

✔️Parksville Qualicum Beach Wildlife Management Area protects the eelgrass beds where millions of herring spawn, drawing in seals, sea lions, and porpoises.

✔️And by stewarding the five watersheds fl owing from Mount Arrowsmith to the coast, the MABR uhelps keep the rivers and streams feeding our ocean clean.

Thank you to the researchers, community members, and First Nations partners who show up for this place every single day. 💙

Butterflies teach us many things.

That transformation is possible.
That beauty comes in countless forms.
That the world is richer because of its diversity.

This Pride Month (and every month), we celebrate the courage to be yourself and the joy of living authentically.

May we continue building a world where everyone has the freedom to spread their wings.

Happy Pride from Butterfly World❣️
