We help with events around Parksville and Qualicum and fund programs like stalking stream with much needed salmon. Sending two youths to an outdoor camp every summer. Organizing a fishing event for the elderly and those with special needs. Cut Broom in Bloom and host a yearly Banquet with auctions, prizes, a game and non game meal. Including a Master of Ceremonies. We have a fishing program for th
ose who like to fish fresh or salt water. We host club events every weekend for shooters to enjoy. Our range's are available for a fee to the public with a member es**rt. Added to our range use are the RCMP twice a month for their practice. Their time at the range is closed to everyone. We have been involved with the water shed management program. Volunteers monitor the water in the rivers at specific spots all year to identify changes in the level, chemicals and or any other specifics. The meetings are held at the Qualicum Legion #76 located at 180 Veterans Way, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 1L8. (250) 752-9632 Everyone is welcome including non members if you would like to see what is happening with the organization. There are reports from all the events including the Dorman Range. The Dorman Range is all about shot guns. They host turkey shoots and other events with clay birds and archery. When all is said and done, there is lots of friendships that come with the PQFG membership. All ages are welcome. If you can hold a rod'n reel, pellet gun, air gun, bow and arrow or any larger calibre hand gun or rifle and have no place to go, come on over and see what PQFG has to offer your son, daughter, wife or husband.
