Our final film of the 2026 Fall season is WICKER screening Monday November 30th at 4pm.

An audacious comedic fable about s*x, marriage, and the absurdities of social convention, WICKER tells the wholly original love story of an ostracized Fisherwoman (the always fabulous Olivia Colman) who commissions a husband to be made by the local Basketmaker (Peter Dinklage).

When her Wicker Husband (Alexander Skarsgård) proves more spectacular than she ever imagined, his soulful spirit and unique prowess awaken something inside her, setting off a wave of jealousy, fascination, and upheaval that threatens the very fabric of village life.

FJORD screens Monday November 16th at 4pm.

Winner of the prestigious Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, Fjord is an intricate, gripping courtroom drama driven by a profound moral dilemma, where private lives are laid bare for public scrutiny.

In the latest from masterful film maker Cristian Mungiu, Lisbet (Renate Reinsve, TIFF ’25’s Sentimental Value) and Mihai Gheorghiu (Sebastian Stan, TIFF ’23’s Dumb Money) are a conservative Christian couple who’ve relocated from Romania to an isolated Norwegian town with their five children.

Unlike their new neighbours, the Gheorghius enforce daily bible study and don’t allow trappings like smartphones and YouTube. The family’s rigid beliefs cause a stir when one of the children is accused of introducing religious bias into their school by criticizing another student’s s*xual orientation. This, however, is just the beginning of the family’s problems. When a teacher notices a bruise on another of their kids, a cascade of events — mimicking the avalanches we see behind the schoolyard in the icy locale — is set in motion.

Unlike her strong-willed husband, Lisbet, Norwegian by birth, is fluent in the local language and adept at navigating cultural nuances. Meanwhile, Mihai, steadfast in what he sees as his right to educate his offspring as he sees fit, admits to the occasional spanking. This triggers a storm of controversy — and is certain to evoke strong, varying opinions from viewers.

Just confirmed! Our November 2nd film will be Dancing On The Elephant, starring Mary Walsh and Sheila McCarthy.

When Nora’s son drops her off at Shady Rest Retirement Home, she’s pretty sure there’s not much left to hope for. That is, until unfiltered firecracker Edna wheels into her life and reminds her it ain’t over ‘till it’s over. The pair kindle a friendship around a love of Fat Archie’s cookies, disdain for “Chair-xercise,” and Edna’s quest to escape the “fox farm.” Edna’s failing memory eventually lands her in the secure memory care wing, leaving Nora to plot one last grand adventure in hopes of reminding her friend that there are still elephants left to dance on.
