Meet Rodney! 🐾

Every Monday morning since 2022, Rodney visits REACH, Inpatient Care, CAPIS and Cancer Care at OTMH through the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs Ontario Program.

His job is simple: be a very good boy (which isn't hard for him) and share the love! For patients, families and staff having a tough day, that visit can mean more than Rodney will ever know.

In honour of , we're celebrating Rodney and every therapy dog who volunteers their time to bring comfort to our hospital's communities. Thank you for the love you share, Rodney!

Happy International Dog Day!

This year, our community showed up like never before.

Together, you helped raise a record $25.6 million for patient care at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital- the strongest year in our Foundation's history.

Your generosity powered upgrades to our Interventional Radiology Suite, expanded the reach of ROSA robotic-assisted surgery, and fuelled a clinical research program reaching cancer, cardiac, and dialysis patients close to home.

Every gift, every neighbour, every donor who stepped up for the first time- this is what it adds up to.

⚽ With FIFA fever taking over Canada this summer, more of us are lacing up to play. But did you know most ACL injuries are preventable?

From strengthening your hamstrings and core to perfecting your landing technique, small changes can make a big difference in keeping your knees safe on the field, the court, or the slopes.

We've put together a quick guide on how to protect your knees this season, including an evidence-based warmup program shown to cut ACL injuries by up to 50%.

Members share what drew them to PWK, what keeps them coming back, and what it feels like to have a real say in the care women receive at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

What is Project WomanKIND?

A powerful giving circle of women extending healthcare beyond our own families, and to the entire community we love.

Here are 3 reasons to join:

1. Learn & Connect - Hear directly from healthcare experts and spend time with women who share your commitment to community health.

2. Decide Together - Every member has a voice in where the funds go. Collective giving, real decisions, your input at the table.

3. See Your Impact - In 2025-26, Project WomanKIND raised funds to purchase new AV integration and operating room monitor upgrades for OTMH, giving surgical teams better tools to care for patients right here at home.
