NEXTGEN Justice Leaders – A Successful and Inspiring Session on Oct 17.

Calgary Single Mothers’ Society is delighted to share that our NEXTGEN Justice Leaders session was a great success!

A heartfelt thank you to all the amazing youth who participated and spent the whole afternoon learning about their rights and responsibilities, understanding the justice system, and developing skills to navigate systems and access the support and resources available to them.** Their thoughtful questions, active participation, and enthusiasm made the session truly meaningful!

Special thanks to Officer Ahmed and his team from Calgary Police Service District 5 for spending time with our young leaders, sharing their knowledge, answering their questions, and helping them better understand the justice system and community safety.

⚖️ We are also grateful to Mr Wali's Sedan Services from Ardent Law Group | Calgary Lawyers ⚖️ for joining us, sharing his time and expertise, and helping our youth gain valuable insights into their rights and the legal system.

We are truly grateful to Centre for Integrated Health and Social Sevices for their valuable collaboration in making this initiative possible. We also extend our sincere gratitude to ActionDignity and Law Foundation supporting this important cause and helping us create meaningful learning opportunities for our youth.

Heartfelt Thanks to Everyone Who Made Culture Days 2026 a Success!
Calgary Single Mothers’ Society (CSMS) extends our heartfelt gratitude to Canadian Zalmi, Immigrant Learning Mums - ILM Community Care Innovations, and Indak Global for their incredible support and contribution to the success of our Culture Days celebration.
A special thank you to MLA Irfan Sabir for his continued support, encouragement, and presence at our celebration. We also extend our sincere thanks to community leaders Sharmila Ranabhat Sukhwant Parmar and Tamana Chanrai for joining us and showing their support. Your presence meant so much to our community!
