What I’ve learned from years of working with clients navigating divorce is that it isn’t just a legal process, it’s a marathon of the heart. 🖤

I’ve observed many of my clients who feel like their world is ending, only to realize a few months later that they are actually stepping into a chapter that has opened more doors than they ever imagined.

But I’ll be honest: it’s hard to see those doors when you’re worried about where you’re going to live. 🏠

One of my biggest takeaways? Clarity is your best friend.

When we sit down and look at the mortgage options, whether that’s a spousal buyout or a fresh start in a new space, something shifts.

Having a handle on the "logistics" isn’t just about the math; it’s about giving your emotions room to breathe. When you know you’re financially secure, you can actually focus on healing. 🕊️

At The Divorce Circle, we don’t just talk about the paperwork; we talk about the person behind it. You don’t have to have the whole map figured out today, you just have to be willing to take the next right step.

What’s one thing this journey has taught you about your own strength so far? I’d love to hear your wisdom in the comments. 👇🏽

Today is National Health & Fitness Day, and I’ll be the first to say it: when you’re going through a divorce, "fitness" is usually the last thing on your mind. 👟

When you’re navigating legal meetings, moving boxes, and emotional highs and lows, the idea of hitting the gym can feel like just another chore on a never-ending to-do list. 😮‍💨

But at The Divorce Circle, we look at health and fitness a little differently. In this season of life, movement isn't about "getting fit", it’s about processing stress.

Divorce puts your body in a constant state of "fight or flight." That tension you feel in your shoulders or that restless energy at night? That’s your body holding onto the transition.

Moving your body, whether it’s a 10-minute walk around the block, a quiet yoga flow, or a heavy lifting session, is one of the fastest ways to lower those cortisol levels and clear your head.✨

It’s about reclaiming your strength, one step at a time. It’s about proving to yourself that you are capable of doing hard things.

So today, don't worry about a "perfect" workout. Just move for your mind. Your body will thank you for the release. 🤍

How are you moving your body to release some stress this week? Let’s share some ideas below. 👇🏽

One of the biggest mistakes I see during a divorce? Waiting until the separation agreement is signed to talk about the mortgage.

You don’t have to have all the answers to start asking the questions. 🏠✨

When it comes to divorce and mortgages, I see so many people wait until their separation agreement is fully signed before they even think about the house. I get it, it feels like one thing at a time is all you can handle.

But in reality: Your mortgage is often the biggest piece of your financial puzzle.

🌟 If I could give you one piece of advice, it’s this: Talk to a mortgage professional early.

You don’t need a finalized deal to run the numbers. Knowing if you can stay in your home or what your buying power looks like now gives you a position of strength during negotiations.

It turns "I hope" into "I know ."

Separating your life is heavy work, but your housing doesn't have to be a question mark. We’re here to help you find the period at the end of that sentence.

Have you started thinking about your "home" goals for this next chapter? Send me a DM, I’m happy to help you find some clarity. 🤍
