Our project sends out over 2,500 letters and cards of inspiration to over 150 workers across Canada every year; but today… we’re stuffing letters asking for donations to keep the program going! Fingers crossed! 🤞

Hello everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed the summer and are loving the beautiful colors of the fall! As The Seeking Help Project looks back at what we've been able to achieve so far this year, we can't help but feel a sense of pride:

- A super clinic for marginalized people in March and an even bigger one planned for November.

- The distribution of over 2,000 mental health mailout cards and inspirational messages of recovery delivered straight to peoples door steps.

- Over 50 clients assisted through case management

- The creation of our "Front Line Worker Support Group" in partnership with Outlook Psychotherapy (Jocelyne Gagnon) starting up in the fall.

- The honoring of 15 people through the Matthew Helmer Community Awards and the Recovery Hero Awards that were hosted in August thanks to our friends at Outloud North Bay

- Amazing partnerships with Sober Outdoorers North Bay and Rainbow Events North Bay to provide recreational and social activities for the community.

And we're not done yet! IF you're able, please consider making a donation to support our work while we continue to search for funding opportunities.

CMHA North Bay and District (and their partners) did a fantastic job on Friday putting together such an awesome Recovery Rocks event! From all of us at SHP, congratulations on such a success!

It was a great opportunity for the community to share inspiration, teach one another, and network.
