Celebrating our 128 Phil Independence Day, flag raising at 10 am, Thorold City Hall with Mayor Terry Ugulini, Sal Sorrento and other dignitaries present and few of the FCAN exec Board and friends present.
Id like to thank Rizza Gatbonton for organizing this one and Elvie Damiano, FCAN 2nd VP for taking the lead on this. Thanks All

In the afternoon, we had our flag raising at the Niagara Falls City Hall at 2pm. I would like to thank Mayor Jim Diodati and his representative yesterday Councilor Tony Baldinelli ( cousin of MP Tony Baldinelli), MPP Wayne Gates, Councilors Mona Patel, Mike Stange, Lorraine Lococo and other dignitaries and the rest of city council for always supporting the Filipino community and allowing the yearly Philippine flag raising. Thanking you for letting us hoist the Philippine flag side by side with Canadian and Ontario colors for a day. Its truly an honor for us and very important tradition that we hope will continue on in the years to come.
We would like to thank everyone in attendance and shared the food that we all prepared for a potluck lunch after the flag raising. Thank You ALL....🥰
Arlene Alerta
FCAN President
