Light of Day Canada is committed to raising money through various events to distribute to Parkinson's organization that support Parkinson's research and care for Parkinson's victims and families. The 2 organizations that Light of Day Canada work closely with and distribute our proceeds to are the Light of Day Foundation and Parkinson Society Central & Northern Ontario.

The Rick Rose Acoustic Stage

This year we are dedicating the side stage at the Meridian Centre to a Niagara music legend, Light of Day alum, good friend, and the person who guided us with the very first Light of Niagara show at the old NFCVI auditorium.

At the Stone Pony in Asbury, they dedicated their side stage to the late, great Pat Toner, and we wanted to do something similar for the man who helped us kick this all off back in 2007. Thanks Rick...we wouldn't be doing this without you.

Niagara’s own Tim Hicks returns to the Meridian Centre, joined by Steven Page, Miss Emily Band, Stephen Stanley (from Lowest Of The Low) & NoElectric, Evan Rotella Music Band, Astrid Young Rocks, Gravely James , Samantha Ava, York Street Thought Process, with a special appearance by Joe D'Urso.

But this night is about more than who's on stage.

It’s about filling the Meridian Centre and showing what can happen when music and community come together for a cause. 💙

Every ticket helps us support Parkinson’s rehabilitation at Hotel Dieu Shaver and cancer care through the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
