Water System: Current plan is for water lines to be pulled from the lake on Saturday, October 17.

Volunteer help welcomed and needed!

Water to residences will be shut off for the season on that day. Timing could be one or two days prior or after the 17th depending on weather and lake conditions.

After the pipes are pulled out, the distribution lines will be blown out and winterized.

Residents are advised to ensure the valve in their water box to the residence is closed. Residents should also use this opportunity to drain the line to their residence.

After the main valve is closed, open the petcock valve and let water in the line drain out. This will help avoid having water in the line freezing and cracking the line over the winter.
