Message from Nate's family which has been passed on by Ms. Lia Tamm who has been asked by them to communicate updates on Nate's status/the Wilson Family:

"Good morning. I wanted to share a little update from Nate’s family.

First, they want everyone to know how incredibly grateful they are for all of the love, prayers, messages, and support. They have been overwhelmed by the kindness shown to them during this incredibly difficult time.

Yesterday brought some encouraging moments, and they were able to see glimpses of the Nate they know and love, which gave them a lot of hope. He’s continuing to make progress, although there are still some challenging moments as his medical team carefully manages his care. They are taking things one day at a time and remaining hopeful.

Chris and Priscilla have been staying by Nate’s side around the clock, taking turns so one of them is always with him. They’ve also been so thankful for the support of family members who have stepped in to help them get a bit of rest when possible.

The hope is that Nate will soon be moved from the PICU to the ward as he continues his recovery and the team begins planning the next steps.

The family has asked me to pass along their heartfelt thanks to every single person who has reached out, prayed, and supported them in any way. Your kindness is carrying them through this ♥️"

Pray For Nate

Dear John Barsby Community and Beyond,

Our dear friend and much loved teammate Nate Wilson has suffered a very serious medical emergency. He is currently in intensive care down in Victoria accompanied by his family.

At this time there is nothing definitive to share but news will come out. For now, if you could say a prayer and send positive thoughts for Nate and his family, it would be very meaningful.

As details become available and means of support for Nate and his family are defined, we will update this site as to how we can all help.
