Funded by the Department of Public Safety, the Youth Empowerment Program have been created to meet the needs of youth in Miramichi aged 12 - 18. Funded by the Department of Justice and Public Safety, in partnership with the Miramichi Youth House and Partners in Action Inc.

🎪 Join the YEP Team at the Nomad Circus! 🎪

The YEP Team will be attending the Nomad Circus in Miramichi on Friday, June 26 at 5:30 PM, and we'd love for you to join us!

This group outing is open to youth ages 12–18, whether you're currently receiving individual services through YEP or interested in checking out our drop-in programs and events. We know attending community events can feel more comfortable as a group than going solo.

📍 Meeting Location: Curling Club Parking Lot
🕠 Meeting Time: 5:30 PM

Katie and Ben have a limited number of transportation spots available. If you need a ride, please contact us by **1:00 PM on June 25, 2026**. Pick ups would start around 3:30pm depending on location to accommodate for traffic due to bridge closure.

Katie and Ben will be participating in a local community walk (30 minutes) for 5210 A Way of Life. Un mode de vie. and PL4C Miramichi's June Participation challenge with Tobi and Raymond Desveaux on June 9th at 1:30pm and June 23rd at 1:30pm 🚶‍♀️🚶

Any young people already participating in YEP, looking to participate in YEP or just wants someone to join with for the MOVE FOR 30 event, Katie and Ben will at Waterfront Green on June 9th and June 23rd at 1:30pm☀️

Many thanks goes to the Douglastown Lions Club who donated to the Youth Empowerment Program from their 2nd Annual Mental Health Gala on May 9th.🥳

The incredible members of this club host their annual Mental Health Gala to raise awareness around the topic of mental health - big cheers to them for their efforts and care they bring to the community!👏

The donated funds will go directly to supporting youth in our community receiving free programming such as events, drop-ins and activities that represent the importance of youth-led spaces that empower and build resiliency. The Youth Empowerment Program recognizes the vital role we play in youth mental health by offering supportive programming and spaces that can help build confidence and community connection. 🤩
