Welcome back miss Molly!

At absolutely 0 fault of her own she is back with the rescue. Her previous adopter had changes in life circumstances. I adore this senior bun and was more than willing to have her return. This is part of being a responsible rescue, caring for your animals no matter is going on personally.

Great news! A new foster chose to take in Molly. A foster who likely would keep Molly to bond her with bunny. (Her is a rescue bun abandoned in Brandon roaming around - she decided to keep.) BUT.. surprise to us Molly came with 2nd bunny. This bunny that was left in a box on the adopters door step a week ago. No information is known about him/her.

This changed our plans but thankfully this foster rolled with it and step up a separate space for now with Molly and "box bunny" who seem to get along. We shall see if all 3 can become buddies once vet care is complete.

Hobbs has a happy go lucky type of personality. He is carefree and always in the best mood. He is an excitable guineapig who jumps and popcorns around like his life depends on it! Even falling over at times! Hobbs gets along well with other piggies typically with proper introduction. Although as he now transitions from teenager to adult this may be more difficult.

Currently, we do not have another guinea pig in rescue to bond with so he is up for adoption as a singleton. It's recommend you buddy him up with another guineapig if you don't have one already. Adoption Fee: $40

Unfortunate news about our Gofer. In high hopes I had prematurely announced his teeth issue as resolved.
About a week after the post, it became evident the teeth are not wearing down on their own and continuously growing. One even broke right at the base.

Gofer would need skull radiographs to determine what is going on. Potentially a referral elsewhere for more advanced dental treatment. All of this has positives and negatives.

In the meantime, we will keep him comfortable and decide what the plan will be going forward.

We have decided at this point to make Gofer a permanent foster. He will not be available for adoption and staying within the rescue.

Eating: timothy hay, pellets and 1/4 cup veggies, herbs, variety of treats.

Chelsea settles into environments fairly quickly and is a confident bunny. This girl absolutely adores all signs of affection. Whether you take a quick second to pet her or hours of snuggling - she is always up for it! The type of bunny who would easily fall asleep with you.
Chelsea is a smart girl and thrives with puzzles, snuffle mats and rotation of toys. She has spent short amounts of time outdoors and enjoys it. Lots of big jumps and happy kicks.
So far she doesn't appear to be a big chewer of items and leaves her bedding, tunnel etc alone.

Home requirements: Best suited in a home with a bunny to bond with or a respectful dog. She follows around the dogs in her foster home and often wants to hang out with the bunny.

Due to the Rex breed Chelsea has extra soft and dense fur which is lower shedding! Clean++bunny and loves to groom herself.

Rest easy sweet Bindi. 🌈 Sadly, she passed during pre surgery sedation. Please send extra love and support to her adoptive mom. Her heart is shattered with the loss of her bun.

Edit to Add: Please make sure you choose a veterinary office that not only are you comfortable with but is bunny savvy. I know regardless tragedies can occur.
