Can’t thank Granite Iron Grill for everything they did this weekend, amazing food and amazing service! If you haven’t eaten there yet, you gotta go!

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to the entire Curling for a Cure team. This was my first year being part of it, and I truly can’t put into words how amazing the whole weekend was. I feel so lucky to have been involved — especially in what turned out to be the largest year yet!

The amount of work, organization, and heart that goes into this event is incredible. You created something that not only brings people together for a fun, memorable weekend, but also makes a real difference by raising money for Candlelighters Childhood Cancer and the Neepawa Community Cancer Program. That’s something truly special.

It was so powerful to see our community show up the way it did — laughing, curling, supporting one another, and rallying behind such meaningful causes. Weekends like this are a reminder of how strong and generous this community is.

Thank you for welcoming me in this year. I’m already looking forward to next year! 💛

For the 7th straight year, Curling for a Cure is officially SOLD OUT!

And for the second straight year, we’ve sold out a full year in advance.

All 32 teams are locked in for Year 8, and we’ve already started a waitlist.

We truly can’t put into words how grateful we are. What started as a small community funspiel has grown into something people commit to a year ahead of time — and that speaks volumes about the support behind this event.

Because of YOU, this keeps growing.
Because of YOU, we continue to make a real impact.
Because of YOU, Year 8 is shaping up to be our best yet!

💙 Curling for a Cure 2026 – Thank You 💙

We are so proud to share that Curling for a Cure raised $49,117 this year, bringing our 7-year total to $183,728. What an incredible milestone.

This event would not be possible without the many people who give their time, energy, and support year after year. A big thank you to our ice makers for keeping the sheets in great shape all weekend, and to Granite Iron Grill for the amazing food that kept everyone fueled from start to finish.

Thank you to our sponsors for your generosity, our curling teams for some great curling and fun, and to everyone who came out to watch, donate, and cheer us on. Every contribution—big or small—played a part in this success.

Most importantly, these funds will make a real difference for cancer patients and their families in our area, offering support when it’s needed most. That impact is something we can all be proud of.

Curling for a Cure wouldn’t be what it is without the incredible curlers who show up to support our event. We are so grateful for every team that joined us this weekend (many of our returning teams and a few new ones too!) and helped make this event such a success.
