Our goal has been “Friend of Youth” to young people in the Milton area for over 40 years. Our mandate is to conduct positive service projects aimed primarily at providing a helping hand to youth but, at the same time, we do not ignore other areas of the community. Some of the major projects that our club has undertaken over the years include donating over $100,000 towards the construction of the M
ilton Leisure Centre and more than $50,000 over the years to the Milton District Hospital, for programs and equipment primarily related to infants and children. The Club has also been involved in sponsoring or running many other youth-related events yearly throughout the community, including a Fishing Derby for handicapped youth and adults, assisting Milton Magic at their annual soccer skills competition for house-league soccer players by providing lunch free of charge, supporting Halton Food for Thought school breakfast program, assisting with support for the local Sea Cadet Squadron annual swim competition, and sponsoring several teen leadership development and education programs. The Club has also been involved for a number of years in supplying and cooking free of charge the breakfast at the Strawberry Fair, the major fundraiser for Milton District Hospital Women's Auxiliary volunteers.
