Our Mother Mooses are in the late stages of pregnancy and ready to give birth at any time. Their offspring are now ready for adoption for the 2026 Race.
For those of you who supported us in the past at our Camel Races held in 2013-2018, this event is a revised edition of the event.
All proceeds stay in Milton to support our initiatives in the community
This event is going to be held at:
St. David’s Presbyterian Church
132 Main Street north Campbellville, On
On Saturday October 17th, 2026
At: Viewing of Mooses open at 5:00 pm Dinner starts at 6pm SHARP
Dinner: Gourmet Buffet style with Halal and vegan options and desert table
Prepared by the Optimist Dream Kitchen Chefs to be under the direction of Chef Brandon Bousfield
Cash bar
Tickets: $ 50 per person
There is a limit of only 60 Tickets.
Reserve your Tickets today as we expect this event to sell out early .

You don’t need to adopt a moose to attend the event

Since COVID, we have been making weekly food deliveries to those in need that can't get out to any of the Food for Life markets

We deliver o approx. 60 households, but unfortunately the need is growing

Currently, we are searching for drivers to support this program

Takes about 1-2 hours weekly, but I can tell you that has become one of the most heartwarming programs that we do

If you can help weekly, once a month, or just in emergency situations.... we would love to hear from you

The Optimist Club of Milton extends their heartfelt thanks and admiration to Bonnie Hoya and her team for hosting last nights amazing Dinner & Euchre tournament in support of our Dream Kitchen project

It was a great dinner made by some of the Dream Kitchen Chef in Training, followed by a night of fun. Over 100 participants

Totals aren't in yet, but the funds will go a long way in furthering the development of our Chefs to Be ,in addition to providing wholesome meals to those in need in Milton

For the record, the Optimist Club really works hard to present a very professional image when we attend an event

Nothing less than exceptional will do

For those of you who know this lovely lady..... she likes to talk, and talk and talk, and talk

So she was a shoe in to represent us at the donut eating contest

My understanding is the donut was gone within 4 bites and she was asking for more. Complained that it wasn't a glazed donut

Came in 2nd

Optimist TV Bingo has been cancelled for this evening May 19th due to weather

Severe weather alerts are ringing for more than half of our broadcasts area, impactingtheir ability to play this evening

We have decided it best not proceed so that none of our players are negatively impacted

Save your cards and we will honour them next week

We will start by recalling the balls already called for the first game

The Dream Kitchen did an amazing job preparing and serving the first St David's Community Supper. Approximately 60 people attended and enjoyed a great meat loaf dinner. Thank you to all the volunteers and everyone who came to support it.
Looking forward to the next dinner in May - everyone welcome !
