The Dream Kitchen and Optimist Club of Milton extends our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the management team of Cristellos Village Market

Hours before a planned community dinner for approx 100 people hosted in association with St David's Church, the main oven in the kitchen decided that it just wasn't going to cook for us

Cristellos opened their doors and welcomed us to use their ovens. Never even hesitated...simply how can we help!!!!

This is what makes the Milton and community the place to live

Thanks again for saving the day

Since COVID, we have been making weekly food deliveries to those in need that can't get out to any of the Food for Life markets

We deliver o approx. 60 households, but unfortunately the need is growing

Currently, we are searching for drivers to support this program

Takes about 1-2 hours weekly, but I can tell you that has become one of the most heartwarming programs that we do

If you can help weekly, once a month, or just in emergency situations.... we would love to hear from you

Kindly DM us and one of our Members will contact you with further details

The Optimist Club of Milton extends their heartfelt thanks and admiration to Bonnie Hoya and her team for hosting last nights amazing Dinner & Euchre tournament in support of our Dream Kitchen project

It was a great dinner made by some of the Dream Kitchen Chef in Training, followed by a night of fun. Over 100 participants

Totals aren't in yet, but the funds will go a long way in furthering the development of our Chefs to Be ,in addition to providing wholesome meals to those in need in Milton

Thank you once again

If only I knew,
I would have paid big bucks to anyone whom could keep our President Elect Wendo in the water more than out

Next year, I bring in a "ringer" to achieve my ultimate goal

For the record, the Optimist Club really works hard to present a very professional image when we attend an event

Nothing less than exceptional will do

Fine example of one of our A team members

For those of you who know this lovely lady..... she likes to talk, and talk and talk, and talk

So she was a shoe in to represent us at the donut eating contest

My understanding is the donut was gone within 4 bites and she was asking for more. Complained that it wasn't a glazed donut

Came in 2nd

Well done Joan Taylor
