Today, we were proud to donate $5,000 to Sask Ag Matters .
The mental health of farmers and ranchers is something that matters deeply to us and to our community. Agriculture comes with long hours, uncertainty, financial pressure, and a level of stress that many people never see from the outside.
The people who feed our communities deserve support too. We hope this donation helps continue the important work Sask Ag Matters is doing to provide resources, conversations, and support for those in agriculture who may be struggling.
To all the farmers and ranchers out there — thank you for everything you do. You are appreciated more than you know. ❤️

May is Mental Health Awareness Month in Canada, and this week’s theme for Mental Health week is “Come Together.”

It’s a busy and stressful time for producers with seeding, flooding or drought concerns, input costs, branding, and moving livestock to pasture to name a few. Take a moment to check in with family, friends, and neighbours. A simple text, phone call or even a quick coffee break can make a big difference to someone’s mental health and their day.

We sometimes work in an isolated environment but we don’t need to go through the challenges alone. Because talking helps. If you want to talk with one of our therapists, they also meet virtually or by phone. Go to our website to find out how to schedule an appointment.

We are excited to announce the Arie Schimmel Memorial Scholarship! A scholarship based not on grades but based on passion, pride and kindness.

Presented to a student at Midale Central School, this scholarship will be for the Graduating Glass of 2026 and run every year until the Graduating Class of 2032 💚

Time for some updates! (Sorry, hockey season kept us busy!)

A huge thank you to Uncle Tommy for taking the time to present a cheque to Envision Counselling on behalf of Forever 41 and Austin Schimmel and Attison Schimmel!

Thanks to all of you, we were able to present them with a cheque for $5000 to help them continue their on going work in our province! Mental Health is so important and thanks to Envision, help is available to all those who need it!

HATS OFF to these young gentlemen! 👏👏👏

Back in July a group of very young men from Midale threw a fundraiser BBQ for Mental Health in memory of Arie which raised a whopping $3,780!!!

Today the boys hand delivered 3 out of 4 of their donations, with the fourth being sent by mail! The proceeds were divided out between the below organizations:

SK Ag mental Health Matters Network - $1060.00
Envision Counselling - $830.00
Canadian Mental Health Assoc. (Weyburn Branch) - $830.00
Child and Youth Mental Health - Jim Pattison Children's Hospital - $1060.00

We are absolutely blown away by the selflessness of these young boys. Again, well done!
