We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the numerous farmers who brought tankers of water to the fire in Macoun Friday night, the locals who lent a hand where needed, and the Macoun coop for making sure our firefighters stayed hydrated, fed and that our trucks stayed fueled. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without your help

Highway has reopened as of 19:00

Midale/Cymri Fire and Rescue is currently on scene of an accident NW of Halbrite on 39, the highway is currently closed from both directions with detours in place. We ask that you avoid the area if possible
