Here’s what’s happening:

🍔 5–6 PM: Food, drinks, games & merch table
🏫 6–7 PM: Classrooms open, visit teachers and meet your child’s teacher
👥 6:30–7 PM: New to Middle School Parent Meeting
🎓 7 PM: Grad Parent Meeting

And just like that, we’re back!

Yesterday marked the first day back for our teaching staff, and it was a meaningful start to a new school year. We spent time reflecting on the journeys that have brought each of us here, sharing the experiences that have shaped us, and looking ahead to the hopes and goals we have for our school community.

As we prepare to welcome our students back, we’re grateful for the people who make MRCS what it is, and excited for all that God has in store for the year ahead.

There’s nothing quite like kicking off a new school year together, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming our MRCS community back on September 10!

Join us from 5-7 PM for an evening of food, games, community, and a few exciting extras:

As we get ready to welcome our new families this September, we want you to know what you can expect when you become part of the MRCS community.

You can expect to be known and welcomed, with teachers and staff who care about more than what happens in the classroom. You can expect faith to be woven throughout everyday learning, and opportunities for your child to discover their gifts, build confidence, and find ways to use them.

Most of all, you can expect a community that believes in walking alongside families and creating space for students to grow academically, spiritually, socially, and personally.

20 days until our hallways are full again. 💙

If you’ve walked through our Middle School and High School wing, you may have noticed something a little different: our Learning Stairs.

They’re technically a staircase, but they’re also a gathering space, a place for presentations, group discussions, collaboration, and those unexpected conversations that happen when students and teachers have space to learn together.

It’s one small example of how we think about learning at MRCS: learning doesn’t have to be confined to four walls or a traditional desk.

As we count down to September 8, we’re looking forward to seeing this space come alive again with questions, ideas, laughter, and community.

Back-to-school season is here! 🎒

With September 8 just around the corner, there’s no better time to start easing back into the school-year routine.

From resetting sleep schedules and getting organized to talking about the year ahead and making time to pray together, a little preparation now can help make the transition smoother for the whole family.

As we get ready to welcome our students back, we’re praying for a year filled with growth, meaningful learning, new friendships, and opportunities to discover how God is calling each of us to live and serve.

At MRCS, we believe that a strong school community is built on relationships - between students, teachers, families, and staff.

We’re grateful to hear from members of our team who have experienced that sense of welcome, support, and belonging firsthand. Mr. Raymond Mba’s words are a beautiful reflection of the culture we strive to build each day: a place where the love of Christ is at the foundation of teaching, learning, and community.
