The Ridge Meadows Bruins Men’s team are recruiting players 18+ for the 2026/27 season. Whether you’ve played rugby before or you’re looking for something completely new, we want you!

Come join a positive team environment where you gain a lifelong community and friends by building each other up, competing together, and creating memories on and off the field!

Last but certainly not least… meet our Executive Team for the 2026/2027 season! 🏉

We’re incredibly lucky to have a dedicated group of volunteers behind the scenes helping keep our club running strong. Get to know the team!

🐻 President & Treasurer — Annie!
Annie is the lady who does it all! Stepping into both the President and Treasurer roles last season, she has taken on so much and has been an absolute rock for our club. To say we couldn’t be more grateful for Annie is an understatement!

🐻 Vice President — Brayden!
Brayden has been a Bruin for almost 10 years! He’s still lacing up for our Men’s team and has been part of the Executive for nearly half of his time with the club. Whether on or off the field, Brayden helps keep the wheels turning, and we couldn’t be more thankful for everything he brings to the Bruins!

🐻 Secretary — Megan!
Megan joined the Lady Bruins last season and quickly became a valued part of the club. As our Secretary, she keeps us organized and on track, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of our Executive team!

🐻 Fields & Fixtures — Ness!
Ness also joined the Bruins last season during the comeback of our Lady Bruins! She stepped up to take on Fields & Fixtures, making sure our fields are ready and our fixtures are good to go. We couldn’t be more grateful for everything she does behind the scenes!

🐻 Equipment Manager — Cody!
As a longtime Bruin, Cody continues to play for our Men’s team while also keeping us stocked and organized! From ordering and organizing to keeping track of all things equipment, Cody has it covered. We couldn’t be more thankful for all his hard work!

🐻 Social Committee Coordinator — Daira!
Daira does all things social! From social media and organizing events to coordinating volunteers, she’s your girl! We’re so excited to have her bringing the fun and keeping our Bruins connected!

A huge THANK YOU to our entire Executive Team for volunteering your time, energy and passion to keep this club moving forward. We couldn’t do it without you! 🐻

We're pleased to announce our Mini and Youth Coaches and Reps for the 2026/2027 season!

Our Mini Rep and Coach, Donovan, has been the heartbeat of our rapidly growing Minis program. From early Sunday practices and planning jamborees to helping ensure our program continues to grow, Donovan does it all. We couldn't be more thankful for everything he brings to our Minis!

Next up is our U14 Girls Coach, Stephanie! Stephanie has worked alongside Donovan with our Minis program in previous years and is now moving up to help grow and develop our Youth Girls program. We are excited to have her leading the U14 Girls this season!

Our U14 Boys Coaches, Connor and Brendan Allan, are up next! Both Connor and Brendan have grown up as Bruins and continue to give back to the club by coaching our U14 Boys. They were a pivotal part of our Youth program last season, and we are excited to see them continue their hard work this year!

Our Youth Rep and U16 Boys Coach, Malcolm, has been a backbone of the rebuild of our Youth programs since COVID. He continues to pour his heart into the game of rugby and the Bruins, and we couldn't be more thankful for everything he has done to help rebuild and to continue to grow our Youth program.

Corbin is back this season after coaching the U16 boys last year. We’re excited to have him continue working with our U16 Boys and helping develop the next generation of Bruins!

Last but not least, we have our U18 Boys Coaches, Danica and Derek! You might notice some new faces, and we are excited to welcome both of them to the Bruins coaching team. We can't wait to see what they accomplish with the U18 Boys this season!

A huge thank you to all of our coaches and reps for stepping up and giving their time to help grow the next generation of Bruins. We can't wait for the 2026/2027 season!

We’re beyond excited to announce our Head Coaches and Men’s Rep for our Men’s Division 2 team for the 2026/2027 season!

Say hello to Rob & Josh! Rob and Josh are no strangers to the Bruins. Both have played (many) previous seasons with us and stepped into the head coaching roles with us last season. We’re incredibly grateful to have these two back on the sidelines, bringing their experience, passion and knowledge to our team!

And of course, meet our Men’s Rep, Sid! Sid is the one working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly! From game sheets and game-day coordination to making sure the team can practice and play week in and week out.

We’re so excited to have this crew leading and supporting our Men’s Division 2 team this season!

Pre-season fitness is kicking off for our U14s, U16s & U18s! Join us for the next 3 Sundays as we get ready for the season ahead.

🏃 Fitness — Sundays 9AM-10AM (location varies)
🏉 Touch & Skills — Thursdays at Telosky until end of August

In September, practices will move to twice a week at Telosky. Come out, get fit, sharpen your skills, and get ready for the rugby season!

We’re beyond excited to announce our coaches and leadership team for our Women’s Division 2 2026/2027 season!

Meet our coaches Gee and Beth! 💙 Gee and Beth joined the Bruins last season when this team was just getting started, and their dedication and commitment have already made a tremendous impact. We are beyond excited to have them step into head coaching roles and bring their knowledge, passion, and experience to our club!

Meet our team manager and women’s rep! ✨Aphra and Mckenna do the behind the scenes work that many might not to notice to make sure everything goes smooth week in and week out!

We can’t wait to see these ladies continue building a positive, and supportive environment where women in rugby can thrive as they lead our Ladies team into the upcoming season! ✨💙

Pre-season training begins NEXT week for both our Lady Bruins and Bruins Men’s teams. 🐻 Come on out and see what Bruins Rugby is all about!

For the first two weeks (August 11–20), we’ll be building up our fitness and skills with:
• Tuesdays – Fitness at Maple Ridge Secondary
• Thursdays – Touch rugby at Telosky Stadium

From Tuesday, August 25th onward, we’ll move into contact practices every Tuesday and Thursday at Telosky Stadium as we prepare for games.

Whether you’ve played for years or have never picked up a rugby ball, we’d love to have you. Everyone is welcome, and no experience is necessary!
